Church Street

Dubbed by Jazzwise as one of the hottest young bands on the UK scene, Partikel fuse their love of jazz, rock and World Music to perform original, high-energy material that is also eloquent and articulate.

A group that never fails to deliver, Partikel are acknowledged by fans and critics alike as one of the most consistent of contemporary British jazz groups and a notable addition to the European creative music scene.

With three highly acclaimed albums to their credit - Partikel, Cohesion and String Theory, plus the recently released Counteraction - they wowed the audience at last year’s Love Supreme Festival and have completed two tours of China, where they have built up an enormous following.

When you combine drummer Eric Ford's timbre and inventive patterns with bassist Max Luthert's propulsive yet flexible bass licks, saxophonist Duncan Eagle's hard-edged lyricism, and the lean, purposeful, ambitious and engrossing guitar work of special guest Ant Law, the end result is a powerful, punchy outfit with an inventive and imaginative set of tunes.
