Comedy @ The Priory Event Info

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our open-air comedy event at St Botolph’s Priory on Saturday. To help with your visit please read through the event information below.

 

·      Gates open at 6pm for 7pm start.

·      Last entry to event 7pm.

·      There is no readmission.

·      You will need to bring seating with you; fold-up chairs or a blanket. There is no seating provided.

·      You are welcome to bring any food or soft drink on to the site. There will be no food vans on site.

·      Alcohol is not permitted to be brought on to site - there will be a bar in operation for the purchase of beer, wine etc.

·      You may be searched upon entry.

·      Please note, this event is cashless.

·      The show will go ahead in the event of rain, unless deemed dangerous. Please bring an umbrella, poncho or other rain-proof solution.

·      Please don’t bring in gazebos, flags or anything else that might interfere with other peoples' view of the stage.

·      The closest train station is Colchester Town.

·      Please arrive in plenty of time.

·      The first-aid point is by the bar

·      Toilets will be signposted and are situated at St Botolph’s church building.

ACCESSIBILITY

Our accessible entrance is located at Britannia Car Park, there will be a designated wheelchair area on hard-standing nearby. If you have any access needs and would like to let us know in advance, please email accessiblity@colchesterartscentre.com before Saturday 30 August.

● Balaclavas, face coverings or masks

● Megaphones, amplification equipment

● Klaxons, air horns or other similar items capable of making loud noise

● Laser pens

● Scooters, skateboards, bicycles, trolleys

● Controlled substances (including psychoactive substances)

● Animals, except for guide dogs

● Any other item which security may deem hazardous
